Is Amazon Treating Independent Authors Fairly?

Lately, I see the efforts of this platform or that platform to be more inclusive of minorities, but what about the major companies capable of affecting change in the way books are published.

Recently, I read a story that was so wonderful, I took the time to write and submit a review because I honestly enjoyed everything about the story. Author Shara Azod just came across my radar. I am often responsible for the many requirements of publishing my own books, so I thoroughly enjoy it when I come across a writer who has some awesome storytelling skills.
